We completed our Year 4 Assembly on Wednesday.

‘No one is too small to make a difference’ was the message. We hope it gave everyone something to think about and ideas about how they can act to make a difference to climate change.

Luke Hurley, an ex-Smallwood pupil, came to talk to the class about his new eco-friendly business: NetZeroProducts. He really engaged well with the children and set them a competition to design a reusable water bottle. The winning design was by Pippa, she won a pack of reusable steel straws.
