Thanks to everyone who has helped the PTFA over the last term – we really appreciate all the cakes you made and bought, the uniform donations and sales, and all the people who helped us at the fair and who came and had fun.

We made a whopping £1,235 at the Christmas Fair and on the raffle. Many thanks to all those that came to the fair and bought raffle tickets and to everyone who donated to the hampers. The Form Reps worked so hard and made beautiful hampers and that really boosted the sales of tickets. The children’s hand made decorations and reindeer food were also a lovely touch this year and we are grateful to staff and children for their creative contributions. The Christmas cards were also a great success and have made a total of £281.25 profit.

This term the PTFA has spent funds on the school discos along with the Zimbabwean drumming workshops and new decorations for the Christmas tree. We have also just purchased an outdoor pirate play ship for Pre-Prep which will be fully installed after Christmas.

If you would like to get involved in the PTFA we would love to welcome you to our next meeting on the Tuesday 21st January at 7pm in the School Room when we will be having some cheese and wine as we discuss forthcoming events. Future events include the Easter Egg Hunt and the Summer Ball on the 6th June at Uttoxeter Race Course (get it in your diary!) and we would love to hear your ideas for other events.

Many thanks and Merry Christmas,
Julie, Sally, Lizzy, Abbi and all the PTFA helpers
