The boys attended a rugby festival at Wolverhampton Grammar School on Wednesday 9th November.  In their group they played Shrewsbury, Hawford, Bromsgrove and Lichfield Cathedral. The main directive for the teams was to focus on enjoying the game and taking part with the scores treated as secondary.

DCPS team played well and skilfully despite three regular team players unavailable due to illness/injury.

Our scrums were hooked swiftly back. During play the ball was passed quickly down the line. Opponents experienced hard tackles preventing tries.

The team welcomed new players with festival awards going to Jim Polmore and Henry Morris (Dorris).

The players were fuelled up with plenty of hot chocolate in between games and well supported!

The team return to the last fixture match away to Terra Nova on 23rd November where they remain unbeaten in fixture matches, perhaps a “lads and dads curry night” in the event of a win!”
