Year 4 endured a cold and misty walk today up to Marchington Woodlands Church, linking this trip with their work in Geography and History. The children were tasked with looking out for historic clues connecting Smallwood Manor to the Church. The children were beautifully behaved and showed respect when walking around the graveyard. The church was warm and cosy, so toes and fingers were thawed as they looked inside the church for more historic clues. They enjoyed chocolate biscuits and a drink from the volunteers in the church, for which we were very grateful.
