Well done to Mrs Emmerson-Friend who predicted that the incubated eggs would be hatching today, she was spot on (I think she’s had plenty of experience).  It has been an exciting day with two chicks that hatched at the beginning of the day and over six out by the end of the school day!  Children, staff and parents have come in to see this amazing sight.  It really is special to hear the chicks inside the egg, to see the egg moving prior to cracking, to watch it crack and to see the chick take its first glimpse into its new world!

Thanks to Mrs EF for organising this for the children (she must’ve worked it out as an end of exams treat!).
