We were very lucky with the weather, it meant we enjoyed a lovely day walking through the Dove valley.

Lunch in a cave, a rock face shaped like a lion and getting to the bottom of 116 steps were some of the highlights that my class mentioned. The highlight for me was the courtesy that our children showed to other users of the footpath. We were not the quietest group but when the children stopped to ask a fly fisherman if he had caught anything, he mentioned that we might have hampered his chances, all 55 children crept past him silently!

We had a great time, the clear enjoyment of the children meant that I enjoyed it all the better.
