Taking a walk with friends is always fun, and all the more enjoyable when one has nearly 60 to stroll with. We stomped across fields, ate lunch in a cave, observed the wildlife, looked for fossils and wobbled across the stepping stones. I can not recall how many times I was asked about my favourite flavour of ice cream but it seemed to be the main topic of conversation towards the end of the day. As Mrs Lucas and I walked at the back of our party we received numerous comments from passers-by about how well-behaved our school children were; we were so proud of everyone on the trip. The rain didn’t hamper our enthusiasm at all yesterday as a brilliant time was had by all!

A massive thanks goes to Mrs Emmerson-Friend for organizing such a super day out.
