Mrs Wason and I ‘treated’ Year 3 to some Aztec food delights, as part of our History lesson. We were very impressed at how the children tucked into a selection of Aztec fruits including avocado and mango for starters.

This was closely followed by edible cricket tortillas, tomato, sweetcorn and a few crispy edible meal worms  for main course. Dessert was chocolate… chilli chocolate!  The children surprised us by their willingness to try out the foods. Never let it be said that Year 3 are fussy eaters!

Mr Gear dropped into see Year 3, I am sure it was the crunchy crickets that enticed him into the dining room.
