Denstone Prep Christmas Fair
26th November 2016, 11am to 3pm
The Christmas Fair is almost here and we are now asking for your help in making it even more successful than last year!
Behind the scenes we have been working away on all sorts of things and what we are asking for please, between now and Wednesday 23rd November is:
- Pre-loved (clean) teddies for the teddy tombola
- More chocolate
- Many more jam jars filled with treats
- Bottles for the very grown up and ever popular Bottle Stall. These can be anything, so long as it’s in a bottle – champagne, wine, beer, washing up liquid, ketchup, vinegar!!!!! Let your imagination go!
We will leave boxes in each of the entrances to Pre-School, Pre-Prep and Main-Prep for you to leave your contributions in.
Also, close to these collection points, you will also see some helpers lists up on the walls. Please could you help us out with an hour and a half or so of your time on the day itself, to help run one of the stalls.
On the day there will be lots of things for adults and children alike. We have themed our fair Gifts and Crafts and so you will find lots of lovely presents, cards, etc for all ages. Some are even so lovely you won’t want to give them away! Games and stalls for children of all ages to take part in! You can also be entertained again this year by our lovely choir.
For those of you who would like refreshments we will have tea, coffee and mince pies to warm you up. To fill you up, and back by popular demand, Tim Mountford will be here again with the Hog Roast. We will make a vegetarian option available! To wash your food down there will be some lovely mulled wine.
Of course, no Christmas Fair would be complete without a visit from the great man himself, and ours is no exception.
You’ll be able to take your chances with the various tombola’s and lucky dips and you may even be one of the very lucky winners of one of the fantastic hampers being put together by each of the forms.
So, please help us to make this year’s fair an even bigger success by helping, donating and most of all coming along on the day!
