Smallwood Manor: 4       3: Edenhurst

With Edenhurst playing netball for an additional term compared to Smallwood Manor, this was always going to be a great test to the under 11s unbeaten run.  However, it is a test they stood up to in a marvellous manor.  The team were super quick in both passing and movement and at times the swiftness of the play was a spectacle to behold.  After losing the first quarter 1-0 Smallwood rang the changes, bringing Ella H back into the GA position and moving Abi into the WA position to help link the play from the defence and attack better.  The change had an immediate impact with super-sub Ella quickly scoring 3 consecutive goals.   Edenhurst managed to shoot another in the second quarter giving Smallwood a 3-2 lead at half time.

However, with more changes made including bringing on Caitlin who quite literally was unstoppable with her precise movement and such secure ball handling skills and Ella P, Poppy F and captain Gaby combining well to jump, intercept and block passes into the D superbly well, Edenhurst were limited to one goal, however, Smallwood remained strong to score one final goal to maintain their one goal advantage leaving them 4-3 victors.
