Melanie and I very much enjoyed meeting some of you at our wine and nibbles parties over the past two weeks. It was good to see you and I am also very grateful to those of you who have already returned the questionnaires. There is a box in the hallway in the Manor House for returned questionnaires; if you have not yet received a copy please see Mrs Shanley. Similarly I wrote to all parents last week concerning a number of initiatives including supper evenings and a book club for mums and dads (and friends). Again see Mrs Shanley if you have not received a copy of the letter.
The school looks wonderful now. Our groundsmen maintain the site really well and the lovely colours of autumn add spectacularly to such a beautiful site. Inside the classrooms displays are gradually going up as we move into the fourth week of term and the learning environment here really is first class, particularly when you add in the superb grounds, the outdoor classroom and the numerous opportunities for outdoor learning that we can offer the children on site.
