Our Christingle Celebration

The Pre-Prep ended the term with a wonderful ‘Christingle Celebration.’

The children sang and spoke beautifully to tell the story of the first Christmas. It was a very moving and peaceful occasion – an oasis of calm at a very busy time!

Carols by Candlelight

Last Thursday’s ‘Carols by Candlelight’  was a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

In the soft glow of candlelight, the choir sang beautifully, the children read the traditional readings clearly and the congregation joined in with gusto! Everyone in the chapel rediscovered the peace and wonder of Christmas.

The Best Gift of All

Pre-Prep and Nursery excelled themselves today and performed a wonderful Nativity play, ‘The Best Gift Of All.’  All the children acted, spoke and sang beautifully and told the story of the birth of Jesus from a slightly different angle!

New Skills! New Tricks!

Pre-Prep 2’s Dinosaur Assembly

Last week, Pre-Prep 2 led  two wonderful chapel assemblies on dinosaurs. The children wore their dinosaur T shirts with pride. They were also very pleased to take them home! They had prepared some creative thoughts about which dinosaurs they thought that they were like. This caused some amusement in the audience!
