Interesting Islands!

Pre-Prep 2 have been thinking about maps and have discovered how useful grids and symbols can be! Today they ventured out (in between showers) and built their own islands, using natural materials found in the Cedars. Noah’s Ark

Reception enjoyed making animal faces outside, using clay and natural resources. The children worked in pairs to discuss the animal features and create their own animal faces, with the aid of a photograph. They all worked extremely hard and made some fantastic faces.

Night and Day by PP1

Pre-Prep 1 are really enthusiastic about the 'Night and Day' project.  They have been finding out about nocturnal and diurnal animals and have enjoyed making bat books.  They have also really liked the story 'The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark' and especially enjoyed making yummy owl cakes. Great work PP1 - Well done.
