Reception had a great morning exploring in the woods. They collected twigs, feathers and leaves and then they designed and built a small house for 'little people'. They played games and sang songs in the new outside canopy.

Continuing our fun in the outdoor classroom Year 3, with their Year 4 buddies, created bubble sticks and 'wish wands' out of willow. Down in the forest the children also made some dazzling dragonflies with their buddies, displaying excellent teamability and helping each other with the tricky bits. Come to the Year 3 and 4 classrooms to see the finished products!
Last week we decided to spend much of our time in 'The Cedars' working with our Year Four buddies. Here are some cute clay animals the children made together, They hunted for twigs and leaves to give their creatures a realistic look and then spent time in class writing about what they did.
